The Silver Serpent initiative is a community-driven literary and artistic interpretation of a long-standing local legend, connecting history, publishing, and immersive storytelling across multiple generations.

The Silver Lake Sea Serpent is a symbol within our community’s folklore, appearing in early stories, later interpreted through a locally created 1980s comic, and now preserved in collectible, artistic, and historical renditions. Through photography, archival publishing, and immersive literary experiences, we continue a multi-generational tradition of place-based storytelling. The Silver Serpent POD Hunt invites residents and visitors to engage with this living legend as part of the town’s creative and cultural landscape.
