90/10 Self Publishing with us

Our 90/10 Is & Is Not Vanity Publishing.
Our 90/10 IS guided self-publishing.

Though vanity publishing has a sorted history, not all Vanity Publishing is bad.
Vanity publishing, or subsidy publishing, is an option in which authors pay to have their books formatted and/or printed. What gives Vanity publishers a bad name is that most of them will format and print work of less than shelf-ready quality.

A Vanity Publishing option is often chosen for the production of:
- Formatting and Printing a keepsake book
- Formatting and Printing a group's yearbook or annual
- As-Is Novels. A novel by an author who doesn't want to go through a multi-step revisions process and elects to simply pay for their manuscript to be printed and/or published without proper editing.

We will not format or print unedited projects.

With our 90/10 contract, you assume about 90% of the work; we, the publisher, assume 10%.

  1. You present your project - any draft from concept pitch to a completed work and pay to have it reviewed by one of our editors

  2. If a complete work meets industry shelf standards, we will format and print your book. If incomplete and/or it does not meet a professional standard, we will advise you of what work needs to be done.

  3. We will show you all possible paths to completion, from easily affordable task by task to a paid in full complete package.

Step 1: First Draft

Step 2: Second Draft

Step 3: Third Draft
